Description

Cross Cottage is a late 18th century single-storey, three-bay cottage located at right angles to its neighbour, effectively closing the street to the south. The exterior is finished in painted rubble with painted raised margins. The central door is flanked by single light windows, which are sash and case with four-pane glazing; the lower sashes feature plate glass while the upper sashes have traditional glazing. The cottage has a raised painted basecourse, end skews, and painted brick coped stacks, all topped with slate roofs.
