Description

Broughton Lodge is a circa 1830 one-story building constructed of pale brick. It has a low-pitched, pyramidal slated roof with a central panelled brick stack and canted corners, along with an eaves soffit. The building is recessed on all four sides, with the front facade bowed and featuring a single window. Diagonal corner projections, defined by pilasters, incorporate small, round windows. The remaining windows are small-paned sash windows set beneath gauged brick arches. Overhanging eaves are supported by wooden posts at the sides. A six-panel door is located under an elliptical gauged brick arch.
