Description
Kesmark House is an early 19th-century brick house with a pantile roof, located on Gooseberry Hill in Swanton Morley. The building has three storeys and a three-bay facade featuring sash windows with glazing bars set beneath skewback arches. The ground floor windows are wider, while the top storey windows are shorter, with two modern replacements. The lower two storeys of the centre bay are slightly recessed and topped with a 3-centred arch made of rubbed brick voussoirs. The entrance includes a panelled front door with a semicircular traceried fanlight. The eaves are supported by plain paired brackets, and the roof is hipped with gable-end stacks. There is also an extension at the rear.
