Description

Cranmer House is an early 19th-century building located on Holt New Street. It is constructed of brick, with some areas rendered and colorwashed, and features a pantile roof. The façade consists of five bays, with sash windows that have glazing bars, although modern casements have been added in the two right-hand bays. The southern two bays are likely a later addition to the original structure. The entrance is off-centre, featuring a wooden doorcase with panelled reveals. The building has one off-centre brick chimney stack and one chimney at each gable end. The eaves are bracketted, and the gables are parapetted and coped.
