Description

Ashurst Park North Lodge is a 16th-century timber-framed cottage located on Fordcombe Road in Penshurst. The building has two storeys and features an irregular arrangement of two windows. It has a half-hipped tiled roof with a ridge stack. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is constructed of red brick; the left section is likely a 19th-century addition. There is a small 19th-century casement window, and the remains of an old window can be found on the right side. Inside, there is an altered inglenook and much exposed framing. Ashurst Park North Lodge and Mitre Cottage form a group.
