  1. C16 cottage, 2 storeys, 2 windows, irregular. High pitched, tiled roof with symmetrical centre ridge stack. Weatherboarded. Small C19 casements. C19 gabled wood porch to plank door. Small lean-to at right. On left return and behind exposed framing with plaster filling on 1st floor. Some coursed freestone masonry on right return.

Ashurst Cottage and Mitre Cottage form a group.
