Description

Holly Lodge and Ingleside are a pair of early 19th-century terrace houses located on Pound Lane. The main facade has a 2.5-storey design, with a central projecting feature and a right-hand wing of three storeys, and a two-storey supporting wing to the left. The front elevation is of yellow brick with a stucco plinth and a moulded stone band emphasizing the ground floor windows. The roof is covered with Welsh slate, hipped, and features a rendered stack. The central section includes two half-basement windows and a doorway to the right with a removed door and plaster panel, and a doorway to the left with a panelled door. The ground floor of the central section has two sash windows with moulded stucco surrounds. The first floor has two sash windows and a central imitation window with closed Venetian shutters, all with flat stucco arches. The second floor mirrors the first floor window treatment. The two-storey supporting wing to the left has a projecting columned porch and sash windows; the supporting wing to the right has a projecting columned porch, approached by four steps, with a panelled door and a sash window above, also with a flat stucco arch; a similar window is present on the second floor.
