Description

The front walls and gateway to the north, north-east, and north-west of West Lodge date from the 18th century. The ornamental gateway features rusticated stone piers and supporting screen walls made of coursed stone blocks. The double gate consists of heavy cast iron tubular posts topped with spear heads that are painted in gold.
