Description
The Home Farmhouse is a private house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of blue brick with red brick bands, red brick quoins, and dressings around the windows. The ground floor windows feature flat segmental brick arches made of rubbed red headers. The building is two storeys tall and has a dentilled moulded projecting cornice with lead flashing and a concealed boxed gutter. The ridge tile roof is complemented by three hip-tiled dormers that have moulded eaves and contain square paned casements. There are two end projecting stacks.
On the ground floor, there are four irregular 18th century sash windows with intact bars. The entrance features an 18th century panelled door set in a moulded exposed frame, topped by a flat projecting moulded hood. The first floor has five irregular 18th century sash windows, also with intact bars.
