Description
Covers Farmhouse is a restored building from the 17th century or earlier, featuring two storeys and a basement with three windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof that is half hipped, topped with a central compound ridge stack. The exterior is made of red brick, accented with a first-floor band and a plinth. The windows are 19th-century casements with one bar and three lights. The entrance boasts an 18th-century door with six fielded panels, set within a modern tiled porch. The gables at both ends are tile-hung, and there is a first-floor cill band. At the rear right, there is a lean-to that reveals visible timber framing, alongside a gabled central projection and modern extensions to the right. Inside, the farmhouse features an old fireplace, some visible timber, and an original newel staircase.
