Description
The stable buildings located to the southwest of Squerryes Court, which include a stable flat and stable cottage, mainly date from the late 17th century and have undergone some alterations. The buildings form a U-shaped range. The north front is rendered and features a pedimented gable with a round window that matches the main house. The roofs are high-pitched and tiled, hipped except for the east wing, which has a roof renewed in machine tiles. The walls are constructed of galleted random rubble with red brick quoins and jambs, forming the U shape. There are four modern hipped dormers and modern garage doors in the center. The right wing contains two stone-mullioned casements, while the other windows are early 19th century sashes with glazing bars. A gabled stone hood is present above the door.
