Description
Orchard House is a timber-framed building that dates back to the 16th century or possibly earlier. It stands two storeys tall and features three irregularly placed windows. Some of the timber framing is exposed, with brick filling in between. The left side of the first floor is tile hung, and there is a rubble plinth at the base. The walls at the back are made of painted galleted rubble. The building has a high-pitched tiled roof that is hipped at the south end, along with an old chimney. The windows are various 19th-century casements, and there is a plain boarded door located beneath a bracketed hood.
