Description
Springfield Cottage, located on the north side of High Street in Westerham, is an early 19th-century pair of cottages, each two storeys high with two windows. They feature a low-pitched hipped slate roof with an eaves soffit. The cottages are constructed of red brick with a stucco plinth and band. The first floor has 19th-century casement windows with bars, with the two left windows having louvred shutters. The ground floor of Springfield Cottage includes a modern bow window and a modern door set within the original stucco entablature surround. Springfields has a glazed door with a 19th-century canopy above it, along with one sash window that has glazing bars.
