Description

This is a 16th-century or earlier farmhouse. It is two storeys high and consists of two gabled sections. The left section is largely blank, except for an attic window. The right section has a hipped roof and a single window. The roof is tiled, and the first floor is tile-hung. The ground floor is constructed of old brick. An exposed beam below the gable features a double billet moulding with rounded chamfers. An old brick projecting chimney has offsets and two conjoined shafts. Inside, there is an inglenook fireplace with decorative incised flowers in the plasterwork above. The interior also contains heavy beams with tongued chamfers.
