Description
Ford Place Farmhouse is an early to mid-18th century house built of coursed freestone, with a possibly older core. The building has two storeys, an attic, and a basement, featuring two windows. To the right, there is an extension from 1869 that includes a projecting chimney breast, while the left side showcases the older part of the house under a gable. The high-pitched roof is slated and has an old ridge stack. There are two dormers with 19th-century casement windows, and other windows are sashes with glazing bars, with the ground floor windows being three-light. The central door is set in a moulded architrave beneath a flat hood, flanked by short side walls that guard the drop into the area.
