Description

These two cottages, originally a circa 1600 house, stand to the north of Hurst Farmhouse. The building has a fairly high-pitched, half-hipped tiled roof with a centrally located stack. It is two storeys high and has four windows in total. The upper floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is of galleted rubble with red brick dressings. The windows are casements, some dating to the 19th century and others more modern. The plank doors are sheltered by gabled hoods supported on brackets.
