Description
Bassetts Mill is a timber-framed building that forms an L-shape and consists of two sections. The back part dates from the late 15th century or early 16th century and may have originally been a small hall, while the front part likely dates from about a century later. The left side features brick and tile hanging, while the rest of the building displays exposed timber framing with plaster filling on the first floor, a brick ground floor, and a random stone plinth. The building is two storeys high and has three irregular casement windows. There is a projecting hood over the door on the right side. The left section has a gable-ended roof, while the older part has a hipped roof, and both are tiled.
