Description
Prinkham is a building that dates back to the early 17th century, with additions made to a structure from the 15th or early 16th century, which was part of a small hall. The entrance front features a square framed section on the left under a cross gable and a close studded section on the right. The first floor overhangs, supported by finely carved corner brackets, with vertical half-timbering above. The gable end also overhangs and is supported by carved brackets with pendants, and it has moulded barge boards. The building has two storeys and an attic window at the gable end. It includes leaded casement windows, a ground floor bay window, and a first floor window above, both with moulded mullions and transoms. The roof is covered with ridge tiles, featuring one hipped end and a central ridge stack. Inside, there are heavy beams, a large stone inglenook, and three crown posts, with the central post being octagonal.
