Description
Brooker's Farmhouse is likely a 16th or 17th century framed structure that has undergone later changes to its exterior. The building is two storeys high and features a half-hipped ridge tile roof with a ridge stack. The ground floor is constructed of red brick with blue headers, while the upper part is rendered. The farmhouse has early 19th century windows, including six sets of casement windows with leaded lights, wooden mullions, and pointed arches. The front entrance includes a half-glazed door with a projecting porch, which is supported by ornamental early 19th century dado on timber posts that have chamfered edges. At the rear, the building is finished in brick and tile hanging, and the side elevation features coupled tile-hung gable ends with an internal gutter.
