Description

This building, known as 1-3 Oak Square, is a row of cottages dating from the late 18th century. The cottages are painted and feature weatherboarding. They have eaves and gutters, with a ridge mansard roof that is half hipped on the left side. The structure has two storeys and three flat-roofed leaded dormers. On the ground floor, there are three plain boarded cottage doors, each with small bracketed hoods above them. The ground floor also includes three 19th-century wooden casement windows, with three similar casements on the first floor. To the extreme left, there is a small one-storey weatherboarded addition with half hipped ridge tile roofs.
