Description

The Royal Oak Tap is a public house located on the west side of High Street, dating back to 1614. It features a painted brick elevation with a random stone plinth and has a four-window facade across two storeys. The building has eaves and a gutter, topped with a hip tiled roof that includes two flat-roofed leaded dormers. The ground floor has an entrance to the saloon bar, which is marked by glazed double doors flanked by sidelights and a rectangular fanlight above. There are two windows to the left of the door and one window to the right.
