Description

This is a ha-ha located in the grounds of Vinters, dating from the 18th century. It consists of small oblong blocks of evenly cut stone, which are currently uncoped and stand about 5 feet high. The ditch at the top is approximately 12 feet from the top of the wall. The ha-ha runs west from a minor south entrance for about 78 yards until the land slopes steeply down to the west, at which point the wall and ditch come to an end. This structure is part of the ha-ha that once encircled Vinters.
