Description

TQ 75 NE BOXLEY NEW CUT ROAD (west side)

5/79 Ha-ha in grounds of Vinters circa 2½ yards west of stretch circa 100 yards north-north- west of Grove Lodge II Ha-ha. C18. Small oblong blocks of evenly cut stone, now uncoped and standing to a height of about 5 feet with ditch top of which is about 12 feet from top of wall. Runs west from minor south entrance for about 78 yards to point where land slopes steeply down to west, when wall and ditch peter out. Part of Ha-ha which formerly encircled Vinters.
