Description

The pump against the south wall of the Douglas Almshouses, located on North Row, is a 19th-century structure made of painted iron. It stands approximately 3 feet 6 inches high and features a fluted top with a knob. The front has a decorated spout, and there is a long curved side handle on the right with a bulbous end.
