Description

The handpump at the Almshouses, dating from 1840, is made of painted cast iron and wood. It features a tall polygonal shaft with a spout and an upper section adorned with traceried panels. The octagonal cap displays alternating flower heads and fleur-de-lys on each face. Above this, there is a wooden polygonal cap. The pump has a long, slender handle positioned at the rear.
