Description

Red Lion Cottage is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the late 18th century to the mid-19th century and is built from rendered and colour-washed brick. The roof is covered with pantiles and features a single gable and ridge stacks, along with decorated eaves. The building is two stories high and has a five-bay front, which has likely been truncated to the right in the early 20th century. There is a doorway on the right with a flat head and a partially glazed 20th-century door. To the right of the doorway, there is a single plain sash window, while to the left, there are three plain sashes, all of which have segmental heads. Above these, there are four small glazing bar sashes.
