Description
Beaux Aires House is a house dating from the early 17th century. It features a flint ground floor and a timber-framed first floor, topped with a plain tile roof. The ground floor is rendered, while the first floor is tile-hung, a change made in the 20th century. The house has two storeys, with the roof hipped to the left and originally also to the right. There is a large projecting stack at the left end and an irregular arrangement of two two-light casements. The original door was centrally located. A two-storey extension from the early 20th century is positioned at a 45-degree angle to the right end, with a short cross-wing on the right end. The extension features a 20th-century panelled door. Inside, the ground floor includes an inglenook fireplace and exposed beams, along with a clasped purlin roof.
