Description
This building is an oasthouse located about 15 metres south of Stilebridge Farmhouse. It dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The ground floor is constructed of red and grey brick in Flemish bond, while the first floor is tile-hung. It features a plain tile roof and is a low rectangular two-storey structure with an internal kiln. The oasthouse is oriented at right angles to the road and has a half-hipped roof, with a cowl-less conical kiln roof that rises from the ridge towards the west (rear) end. There is a small rectangular light near the centre of the south elevation and a small paned light at the west end of the north elevation. Additionally, there is a boarded first-floor loading door located towards the east end of the north elevation. The interior has not been inspected.
