2/13 Mile Bush Farmhouse 25.5.67 (formerly listed as Horlands Farm) GV II

Farmhouse. Circa 1715, with mid-to-late C20 alterations. Ground floor red and grey brick in Flemish bond, first floor tile-hung. Ground floor of left gable end has broadly-spaced studding with brick infilling and lacing pieces. Plain tile roof. Formerly lobby entry plan of 2 timber-framed bays and central stack bay. 2 storeys and attic. Ragstone plinth to rear. Boxed eaves. Half-hipped roof. Central brick ridge stack. Three hipped two-light dormers. Irregular fenestration of 3 casements; two three-light and central two-light. Central half-glazed door. Bracketed gabled door hood with coved plastered soffit and raised decoration with inscription PC . 17 15 Central two-storey rear stair turret, increased in height in C20. Rear lean-to to right and left. Interior: exposed framing. Cut jowls to principal posts. Curved bracing. Staggered butt purlin roof.
