Description
Little Tilden Farmhouse is a farmhouse with a late 18th century facade that may cover an earlier building. The ground floor is constructed of red and grey brick in English bond, while the first floor is weatherboarded. It has a plain tile roof and is two storeys high with a garret, featuring a half-hipped roof. There is a brick ridge stack located to the left of the center. The windows are irregularly arranged, with three three-light casements, each having a broader central light that resembles tripartite sashes; one is positioned to the left and two to the right of the stack. The ground floor has similar but larger casements. The entrance door has six fielded panels and is topped with a flat hood situated under the stack. To the left, there is a short rear wing with two exposed posts on the ground floor and a roof that is hipped to the rear. A rear lean-to is located to the right. There is a stack dated 17(--?) with initials. The interior has not been inspected.
