Description

This is a headstone commemorating Henry Lomas, located about 27 metres east of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Teston. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and is made of stone. The headstone features a shouldered semi-circular top that is intricately carved with two cherub's heads, an hourglass, and a book. It marks the grave of Henry Lomas, who died in 1735.
