Description
Nos 5 and 6 on High Street is a building that was originally an 18th-century house but has been altered to accommodate two shops. It stands three storeys tall with attics and features painted brickwork. The building has two dormers, a parapet, and a dentilled cornice. On the second floor, there are two pilasters and a mix of two segmental-headed windows and two square-headed windows, all of which retain their glazing bars. The ground and first floors have been modernized with shop windows. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1, 3, and 5 to 9 in succession.
