Description

Nos. 10 and 12 on Church Street is a house and shop dating from the 18th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and has a plain tiled roof. It stands two storeys high on a plinth, featuring boxed eaves and a roof that is hipped to the left. There are stacks at both the left and right ends of the building. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sashes. The ground floor has a double shallow-bayed shop front, which includes double central half-glazed doors set in a panelled doorway with a rectangular fanlight above. A fascia and awning box runs over the entire shop front. This building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
