Description
Nos. 9 and 11 on Church Street are a pair of houses and shops built in the early 19th century. They feature painted brickwork and a plain tiled roof, arranged in two parallel ranges. The buildings are two storeys high, set on a plinth, with the roof hipped to the right. There are chimney stacks located at the centre and the rear centre. On the first floor, there are two sash windows to the left and two glazing bar sashes to the right. To the left, there is a plate glass shop window, while the right side has a shallow, recessed multi-paned bow window. The entrances include glazed doors at both ends, one recessed, and a central four-panelled door, all set in semi-circular headed openings. This listing is included for its group value.
