Description
This is an oasthouse built in 1893, located about 30 metres northwest of Manor Farmhouse. The kilns and ground floor of the storage area are made of chequered red and grey brick, while the first floor of the storage area is weatherboarded. The roofs are covered with plain tiles. At the north end of the rectangular storage area, there are two circular kilns. The storage area is two storeys high and features a cogged brick eaves cornice on the kilns. The storage area has a half-hipped roof, and the kilns have conical roofs with cowls. The first floor of the storage area includes two two-light paned casements and a central rectangular louvred light. There is a boarded loading door on the first floor towards the right end, accessible by an external flight of wooden steps, and another loading door on the left gable end. The ground floor of the storage area has garage doors, and there is a boarded door at the base of each kiln. The brick on one of the kilns is dated "1893 G.Day".
