Description

Turkey Cottage is a cottage dating from the early to mid 18th century. The ground floor is constructed of red brick with a Flemish bond pattern, resting on a stone plinth. The first floor is weatherboarded, and the roof is half-hipped and tiled, featuring end brick chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and two windows. The front elevation includes 19th-century three-light casements and a central doorcase with a tiled gable supported by wooden brackets. There are also two casements on the side elevation. Inside, the cottage has exposed ceiling beams and two plank doors.
