Description
The garden wall, located about 1.5 metres north of another wall approximately 4.5 metres north of the stock yard at East Sutton Park, likely dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a stretch that runs east-west, partly resting on a stone plinth and incorporating chequered brickwork near the base. The wall extends north for about 33 metres from a small 20th-century gateway on the east side of the kitchen garden. It then returns to the west for about 167 metres, enclosing the kitchen garden and garden, and ends at the churchyard. The wall stands approximately 3 metres high, with a ramped section leading up to a taller panel at the centre and at the west end of the east-west stretch.
