Description

The garden wall, located approximately 5 metres east of South Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of red brick and sits on a high plinth made of squared and coursed red and grey sandstone. The wall measures about 20 metres in length and stands between 1.5 to 2 metres high. It features chamfered red sandstone coping that ramps up twice towards the south-west. There is a boarded hatch in the wall to the south-west that leads to a later lean-to shed behind, which is not included in this listing.
