Description

The garden wall adjoining Benthall Farmhouse to the south-west dates from around 1660. It is constructed of red brick and features a projecting coursed red sandstone rubble plinth and chamfered grey sandstone coping. The wall is L-shaped, measuring approximately 20 metres long and 2 metres high. There is a pair of likely inserted boarded gates at the angle of the wall. This structure connects Benthall Farmhouse and the former stable block to the south-west and is included for its group value.
