3/81 Fulling Mill Farmhouse 26.4.68. II

Farmhouse. C15. Timber-framed with rendered infilling. Left gable end painted brick. Plain tile roof. Open hall. 2 storeys on stone plinth. Principal posts forming 6 roughly equal bays; probably 3 subdivided bays. Possibly close-studded; few studs exposed. Arch braces to major left end bay. Hipped roof. Multiple brick ridge stack towards right end and small brick stack to rear of left gable end. Irregular fenestration of 7 windows; 5 irregular casements with leaded lights (one with original cill), one 2-light mullioned window with subsidiaty mullions beneath stack and one similar 4-light window to major right end bay. 2 diamond mullion windows to ground floor of right end bay. Mortices in posts of fourth minor bayfrom left, possibly for bay window to hall. Panelled door with 4-light rectangular top light to left end of major central bay and blocked door beneath stack. Half- door to first floor of left gable end (which built into bank) up 4 stone steps. Interior not inspected.
