Description

This granary, located about 11 metres north-west of Bletchenden, dates from the 18th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a plain tile roof. The building has two low storeys resting on brick padstones and features a half-hipped roof. The central entrance consists of a boarded door, with a 2-light casement window to the left. There are later lean-tos added to the rear, on both the right and left sides. Inside, the granary contains three short timber-framed bays and wooden corn bins, along with stairs located in the north-east corner.
