Description
Fairmeadow House is a house dating from the mid-18th century. The ground floor features a chequered pattern of red and grey brick, while the first floor is tile-hung. It has a plain tile roof and stands two storeys high with an attic on a brick plinth. The house has gable end stacks and a broad hipped central dormer. The front facade is regularly arranged with three windows, consisting of two 3-light and a central 2-light leaded casement. The central door has four fielded panels and two top lights, all sheltered by a lean-to hood. At the rear, there is a lean-to extension. Notably, the bricks to the right of the front door are inscribed with "Thomas Loudwell 1756" and "John Bonny 1756". The interior has not been inspected. This building was formerly known as Waterman Quarter Farm.
