Description
The barns located about 4 metres south of Parsonage Farmhouse are small structures dating from the early 16th century or earlier, with later additions to the east. They are timber framed and weatherboarded, standing on a stone plinth, and feature plain tile roofs. The barns are oriented at right angles to the road, positioned between the farmhouse and the road. The section closest to the farmhouse is slightly broader and has a more steeply pitched roof that is hipped to the west. There is a boarded door with a small fixed light towards the east end of the west section. Each end of the longer east section has a stable door, with additional boarded doors located towards the centre. A boarded door is also present on the east gable end. The interior has only been partly inspected, revealing a crown post roof towards the west and a partially floored space.
