Description
Nos 8 and 10 on The Street are late 18th-century red brick houses featuring grey headers. They have a clay tiled roof that is mansarded at the front and are part of a terrace, with No 10 being the end of the terrace. The buildings are two storeys tall, plus an attic storey. The doorway to No 10 has a rectangular fanlight above it and a door with six raised and fielded panels. The ground floor has three sash windows with intact glazing bars, while the first floor has five similar windows. There are two dormer windows with lead coverings on the tops and cheeks. The houses feature a brick modillion eaves cornice and a brick string course at the first floor level. Originally, these buildings were one house.
