Description
Nos 2, 4, and 6 on Main Street are a terrace of houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed of red brick with a pantiled roof and stand two storeys high with four bays.
No 2 features a double-fronted design with a four-panel door and an overlight, flanked by 16-pane sash windows with sills, all set beneath flat gauged brick arches. The first floor has two 16-pane sashes with sills, also under similar arches.
No 4 has a four-panel door with an overlight and a 4-pane sash window to the right, along with a 16-pane sash with a sill on the first floor, all under flat gauged brick arches.
No 6 includes a four-panel door with a 4-pane sash window to the left and a similar window on the first floor, both under flat gauged brick arches.
The terrace features a stepped brick eaves cornice, end and axial stacks, and raised coped gables on shaped stone kneelers.
