Description

The former stable block to Low Hall is a late 17th-century building that has been significantly altered in the 19th century and is now used as kennels. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and features a pantiled roof. The building is single storey with a loft and consists of 14 bays. Originally, there was a central carriage entrance, which is now blocked, with two boarded doors on either side, each having an overlight with glazing bars, all set under segmental brick arches. The building has scattered cross-mullion windows, all under flat gauged brick arches, and raised coped gables. Roof dormers with taking-in doors are also present. This structure is included for its group value.
