Description
The Old Parsonage, formerly known as the Old Vicarage, is a building that was rebuilt in the late 19th century as a replica of an 18th-century structure that was destroyed by fire. It features red brick on all sides and is topped with clay roofing tiles and painted timber eaves.
The building has a rectangular shape with a hipped roof at both ends. It is two storeys tall, with an attic storey above. The front facade includes a central doorway that is adorned with pilasters, a pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-panelled door with raised and fielded panels. There is a flight of five steps leading up to the doorway.
On the ground floor, there are four sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has five sash windows with glazing bars. Additionally, there are two dormer windows with hipped tiled roofs. The building is also decorated with brick modillions beneath the painted timber eaves.
