Description

The Church of St Peter and St Paul is a Grade II* listed building located in Shorne. It features a chancel and north chapel that date back to the 13th century, with the north and south aisles constructed in the 14th century, showing some remnants of 12th-century work in the north aisle. The tower and porch were added in the 15th century. A south chapel was built in 1873 during a restoration of the entire church, which was carried out by T H Wyatt. The church is constructed with flint walls that are banded with ragstone, and it has lead flat roofs over the north chapel and south aisle, while the remaining roofs are tiled.
