Description

Nos. 5 and 6 on The Street are two houses that were originally one dwelling, built in the early 19th century. The buildings are two storeys high and constructed of red brick, topped with a hipped roof made of glazed pantiles and featuring brick stacks at the ridge. There are four windows, which are sashes set in flush frames with glazing bars and flat gauged arches. A notable feature is the original Regency bow window. The two doorways have segmental arches and are fitted with 20th-century glazed doors.
