Red House is an early 19th-century house with a rectangular plan and a lean-to on the left side. It stands two storeys tall and is constructed of red brick, topped with a slate hipped roof and featuring two gault brick stacks. The house has three windows, which are sashes set in recessed frames with glazing bars and flat gauged arches painted white. The entrance doorway is highlighted by a prostyle portico supported by Tuscan columns, with a flat banded entablature and pilasters, and it features a four-panelled door that is half glazed.
