Description

Sluice Farmhouse is a house that was originally two cottages, dating from the early 18th century. It has a basic 'L' and 'T' shaped plan that has been joined together. The building is timber framed and plastered, featuring plain tile and pantiled roofs with brick stacks along the ridge. It has decorative barge boards and consists of two storeys as well as one storey with dormers. The windows are scattered, mainly consisting of 20th-century casements, with some 19th-century windows that include glazing bars. The entrance features a raised and fielded six-panelled door with a moulded architrave.
